A 1920s townhouse on a quiet callejón in Santa María la Ribera, renovated but with its original bones. One cozy bedroom for you. A private courtyard, a private roof, an 86-inch TV, and a jet bathtub we absolutely recommend using. It's a dreamy place to live for a couple of weeks and perfect if you like romanticizing your life.

Santa María la Ribera is one of the oldest colonias in Mexico City and one of the least touristed, which is exactly why we love it. There's a real community here. Twelve minutes on foot gets you to the alameda and the Kiosco Morisco, a Moorish-revival pavilion that's the heart of the neighborhood. The Museo de Geología sits right across from it, and the Museo del Chopo, a glass-and-iron art nouveau building shipped over from Germany piece by piece, is a short walk on our block. Good market, good bakeries, quiet at night.

Internet: Infinitum Wifi. We also have a VPN built into our router, so you can watch any of your favorite US shows.

Getting around: Metro San Cosme is a short walk, on Line 2, which runs straight into the Centro Histórico. Revolución, also on Line 2, is the other nearby station. Uber and Didi are cheap and everywhere. By car, Roma is ten to fifteen minutes, Condesa and Bosque de Chapultepec fifteen to twenty depending on traffic. Plenty of the city is walkable from here if you like walking, and we do!

The animals:

Winnie, three, a red golden retriever who has never met a person she didn't immediately love. She is super cuddly. You will be sat on.

Teddy, two, a labrador and great pyrenees mix, and the sweetest, most loyal dog in the world. He would like to play tug of war. He would like to play tug of war again. He is very good at it and he knows that about himself.

Bunny, one, an absolutely beautiful ragdoll cat who is very independent. He is SUPER cuddly on his own terms.

Responsibilities

Feed all three twice a day, morning and evening. Clean the litter box. No medications, nothing complicated.

Walk the dogs at least twice a day, ideally three times. Short loops around the block are fine. The Kiosko Morisco is twelve minutes on foot and has an area for dogs. We also have a great dog walking service we use on days we are busy.

These two have a lot of energy and they are very attached to us. They need somebody to love on them and give them the attention they so desperately crave. The dogs can be alone for about 6 hours max at a stretch.

We need continuous coverage for the full stretch, October 22 through November 2. :)
