We are looking for a reliable and happy person or couple, to care for our home and our rescue cat for a little over 3 months.

Our home is a nice and very private one located in a very safe yet popular area. It is located 15 minutes away by car from Avendaro and 30 minutes from Valle de Bravo. I would recommend to have a car to be more comfortable but it is possible to take a collective taxis for 1.5 us dollars (25 pesos) to go to Valle. You can also call a private taxi (for around 10 us dollars). You will find a very big and well-furnished supermarket Fresko in Avendaro with products from all over the world and the best meat in Mexico! Valle de Bravo is a Pueblo Magico, it is located two hours and a half from Mexico city. It has a lot of charms and since it is one of the most favorite “weekend destination” for wealthy Mexican families coming from Mexico City, it offers a large variety of restaurants and shop that you won't easily find elsewhere. It also offers many events and activities such as a kart circuit very near from our house and we can recommend a good agency if you want to practice hang gliding at a very reasonable cost. Two hours and a half away by car, you will find a national treasure: the Monarch butterfly reserve and you’ll be here at the right season, it is a truly magic experience!

The house has all the comfort you might need: a fast and reliable internet connection and a tv with 3 local canal, you’ll also have access to a music sound system on the terrace. The TV is  a roku system so you can connect your Netflix or Prime account. My kitchen is well furnished for those who like to cook and my oven is fine to make bread or cakes. Five minutes walk away, you will have a cleaning service for 1.2 us dollar per kg to wash your cloth (we don’t have a washing machine), many tacos stand, vegetables and fruits stands and a gasoline station with an oxxo opened 24/7.  You’ll also find a doctor and a pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Our cat named Princess is a rescue, she is very sweet with a little personality on her own. We don’t sleep with her but you are welcome to if you fancy it. We are looking for someone to cover the all term but let us know if you are interested for a shorter period, we might consider it. We ask that you sleep most of the night in the house. You may leave for a night or two as Princess can manage on her own but we’d rather like that it wouldn’t happen on a regular basis. We will be trusting you with our house and Princess for a long time therefore we will need ID and references. Hope you understand, thanks.
