We are a 40 minute drive from the Guadalajara airport.  The house is in upper centro Ajijic, in a gated community, is newer and has views of Lake Chapala. The guest suite has an air-conditioned  bedroom, a modern bathroom, TV room and balcony, on the west wing of the house.  The kitchen is spacious for cooks.  There are a few steps to the main floor, or you may use the elevator located in the garage.   There is a small yard, and an outdoor heated dip pool.  There is also a large heated community pool just a few steps away.

Our rescue dog Izzi is sweet,  8 years old, about 30 lbs, and wants to please. She is healthy given her background and gets along okay with other dogs.

The Internet is reliable for this area, with fiber optic cable.  You will have use of our car.  There is also a bus route along the main road, with the closest stop within a few blocks of the house. There are many restaurants,  a grocery and other stores within walking distance.

A day or two stay pre or post is fine.

Responsibilities

Our dog enjoys a morning walk around the neighborhood, and a short stroll around the condominium in the evening. She also really likes being with humans. She is good in the car.

The gardener comes Mondays to mow at a scheduled time, and he needs access to the yard. The housekeeper comes Wednesdays and Saturdays. She has her own keys. Staff is pre-paid.

We have an irrigation system for the yard.  There are about 10 potted plants outside that will need watering twice a week.  And we some potted cacti that will also need watering twice during your stay.   The dip pool needs to be checked every other day  with a chlorine strip test and filled with the nearby hose if needed.
