If you have been wanting to visit Ajijic and the surrounding area - this may be great for you!!

You would be taking care of my 4 year old yellow lab - Zeke.  He has a very sweet disposition and loves everyone and a one year old small rescue pup.

The house is a two bedroom - two bath - comfortably furnished with its own private swimming pool.

There are brand new appliances, mini-splits, wi-fi, streaming through Prime, and, a renovated pool and backyard.

Zeke has a dog walker and goes to doggie daycare every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  His handler picks him up and drops him off.  On the off days, he will gladly walk with you.  Maya will be happy just to hang out with you or annoy her brother.

I am located in a gated community in the western portion of Ajijic.  The community has a gym, clubhouse and swimming pool.

I am walking distance to a fresh market, mini-Costco, and Pancho's - a great supermarket.  If you aren't familiar with Ajijic, it's a great little town with lots of shops, excellent restaurants and a Tuesday and Wednesday market.  It's a short walkable distance to town and the bus stops right in front of the community.

The pool has been completely retiled and switched out to a salt water system with solar heat.  I have also added a tanning shelf, new light features, and a waterfall.  The new planter beds and patio will include a backyard firepit.  It will be an oasis to enjoy.

I do not have insurance on my car for other drivers so there is no vehicle to use.

Responsibilities

If you are my house sitter match, aside from keeping the house tidy, priority one is for the pups!  You would be responsible for making sure Zeke gets just enough to eat, cleaning up the yard, making sure he's ready for his handler and being home to receive him at the end of his daycare.  I have housekeeping service on Mondays - great day to wander with Maya.  I find it pretty easy to run the sweep every morning and mop on the weekends.  The pool is serviced twice a week and the gardener comes every other week - both have access to the backyard so the only responsibility there would be making sure the yard is free of doggie debris.  The primary responsibilities are keeping the house in order and making sure Zeke and Maya are taken care of.  Other than that, I would hope you would be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy the sunshine.   AND - if you aren't a person that likes the dogs in bed with your or snuggling on the couch - thanks for looking, but this won't work for you.
