A Summer Cat Sit in Beautiful San Miguel de Allende
San Miguel de Allende, Gto, Mexico
Please come and stay in my comfortable upstairs 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in the gated community of El Secreto in San Miguel de Allende. I am located approx. 10 mins drive outside of Centro with a short walk to grocery stores (La Comer and City Market) and other shops. You can easily take a taxi to any location (inexpensively).
My house includes WiFi, TV with Roku access in the living room as well as a rooftop terrace. Additionally there is access to the community clubhouse, pool and amenities. You will have access to a full kitchen as well as a washer and dryer.
The guest bedroom (where you would stay) has a queen bed. The master bedroom is reserved for the cats. It's their home base and where they like to hide. It is not off limits as that is currently where their food and water are. I just want to give them a place to feel safe from strangers.
My boys
I have two grey and white cats, Charlie and Rigsy. Charlie is the social one of the two and will eventually warm up to you and seek attention. Rigsy however will most likely hide from you the entire time. You may see him at treat time (when meds are given) but do not be surprised if he doesn’t make an appearance.
They are both indoor only cats. They are not allowed outside access at all.
In addition to food, Rigsy requires medications twice a day. His pill will need to be crushed up and mixed with wet food. Charlie gets a treat at the same time
And lastly, their litter box will need to be sifted every day. I use pine pellets for litter and can show you the system. Rigsy does have some hip (mobility) issues so occasionally he will poop outside of the litter box. He's very respectful about it and it's very easy to clean up. I can answer any questions you have about this. To be clear it's only if he's in pain. The cats do not mark around the house or make messes anywhere else.
One thing of note: there are neighborhood stray cats that like to visit my porch. The boys, Charlie especially, do not like other animals. For this reason I have devices on my porch to help with this situation. All I ask is that the device is remain on so that the stray cats will be deterred from coming on to my porch

Responsibilities
My primary concern is care for the cats. They are currently free fed. You should not have to worry about refilling their food. They also have an automated water fountain that will need to be filled a few times during this weekIn addition to food, Rigsy requires medications twice a day. His pill will need to be crushed up and mixed with wet food. Charlie gets a treat at the same time
