Our home is in the Vista del Lago FRAC, which is associated with the Chapala Golf and Country Club, located about 6 kilometers from the center of Chapala, but only a short walk to the small pueblo of San Nicolas. In San Nicolas there are bodegas where you can purchase groceries, as well as an OXXO convenience store and a couple of restaurants.
The house offers high speed internet from Starlink, along with a backup system from Telcel.
For longer trips, there is bus service on the half hour that goes to Chapala and Ajijic and the bus stop is just outside our community.

Responsibilities
The house sitter will have full use of the main house or the casita below, at their discretion. There is a full kitchen, internet, 85 inch TV with a great streaming service and a heater and air conditioning unit in each room should it become necessary. There is a large swimming pool in the back garden and a terrace that is perfect for your morning coffee with a spectacular lake view.
The sitter will be required to take care of 3 dogs. There are two miniature wienie dogs that are 2 years old, and an older German Shepard. We will provide you with a manual for both the home and the care of the dogs. There really isn't that much care that they require other than twice daily feeding and some play time. The little ones sleep in their crate and can be in there for about 6 hours during the day if you want to go exploring. It is no problem for them to be in there for 8 hours at night. The big one can stay outside all day, but he does prefer to sleep inside.
