Fortunately, none did. They stepped up to solve a problem with CFE while I was gone, too! My dogs were happy and healthy when I got back, my house was clean and the plants were well-watered. I also appreciated that they kept their commitment to me even though they had some serious car trouble right before the housesit was supposed to start. Gloria, Bella and their home are lovely! The house is both secluded and accessible. It is on a short dirt road and there are hardly any neighbors nearby. Yet, you could walk and be at the lake in 20 minutes, or you could drive and be in the town of Chapala in less then 10 minutes. Her home is lovely and spacious with only a short walk to the local beach, or hop on a bus for only 28 pesos ($1.20usd) and enjoy the many attractions of Puerto Vallarta. I had the genuine pleasure of cat sitting for Richard at his lovely home in PV. The cats are sweet and we became fast friends 🙂 The house is lovely, sitting on a hill in Centro in PV, a short walk to the Malecon. I enjoyed watching the sunset from the terrace every evening. I had a great rapport with Richard who provided me with thorough details of the home and cat routines. I would not hesitate to housesit/cat sit for Richard again. He’s a lovely gent!

Mark & Natalie looked after my two smaller dogs for about 10 weeks earlier this year (2022) They were excellent with the dogs and my home, and I would invite them backing in a flash. However they are traveling Europe for the next little while, but I believe they may be coming back to the Chapala/Ajijic Lakeside area in a few months. I hope that is the case. I would enjoy having them sit for me again, for sure.
