X It is our pleasure to review and highly recommend Shaimaa and Addie who recently house sit and pet sit for a week between September 25th and October 2nd at our home in San Miguel de Allende. Dena and I selected Shaimaa and Addie after a Zoom interview with Dena and an in person meeting with me. We both knew they would be great. Our plans changed when I fell and broke my left leg. Dena had to go to her meeting in California, but I was left with no choice but to remain home, and Shaimaa and Addie not only house and pet sit, but agreed to add me to their sitting tasks, looking in on me several times a day, plus bringing coffee and breakfast, lunch and dinner and snacks. I was spoiled with their care and concern, and loved their company and conversation. The house and pets were very well taken care of too. We have been fortunate to meet wonderful people through HouseSitMexico. Shaimaa and Addie were simply a Godsend. We have become good friends and just hosted them for a thank you dinner this past Friday. You will not do better than Shaimaa and Addie for your house and pet sitting needs. They are fabulous people! You can take our word for it.

Summer and Mike did an excellent job caring for our home and 2 standard poodles! One of our poodles requires medication every morning and they had no problems taking on that extra responsibility. They are both warm, friendly, and thoughtful. From our first Zoom call together I was relieved to know we were leaving our home and dogs in capable hands. I highly recommend them!

An absolutely amazing house sit. Julia and Tim were perfect hosts. They were very welcoming and also very generous. Their house is fabulous, beautiful, and extremely quiet. A house of our dreams. Their dog Izzi is not just completely adorable, friendly, and very. very loveable, but also very easy to take care of. She was really good company to be with. We both fell in love with her, and we hope to see her again I cannot recommend this house sit more. I want to give them 10 stars.

Greetings, If I could give more than 5 stars, Antony and Paulina would receive them. They took care of our home and beloved furball in October 2023 for two weeks with utmost devotion. Both Antony and his wife were super responsible and reliable. And they both adore animals! Antony is handy with tools, and did extra maintenance around our house, saying he enjoys keeping busy. What a super experience we had with Mariah and Felipe! They're a super sweet couple, and they took excellent care of our house and our two chihuahuas while we were away for 9 days. They came by a couple days early to meet us, and our dogs (who don't normally like new people right away) almost immediately bonded with them. Because the Doggies were not originally part of the sit, we decided to have a dog walker come every morning to walk them. Barbara accompanied the dog walker and later in the day/evening walked the dogs herself. She is independent and brought the things she wants to make her stay comfortable. She has a bike and likes to use it to get around.

Cessie was aloof and definitely the queen of the house. But after providing her with food and snacks and scratches and believe she decided we earned our keep. 😉 We will miss them both!

If you ever have the opportunity to have Angela and Josh sit for your pets, plants and house, don't pass up the opportunity. If you have a concern that they may love your pets to the degree that your pets prefer them to you, don't be too concerned, Angela and Josh travel light. They have no room in their luggage for a 60 lb dog and 8 lb elderly cat. Angela and Josh are the very best of care givers, are respectful of your belongings and are all around good people. We feel incredibly lucky to have met Dena and Bob, their two dogs Bader and Ellie, cat Soto and the little trio of birdies. It was a wonderful experience. Bob had injured his leg and remained home recovering whilst Dena travelled and we became firm friends with the whole family. Words are not enough to describe how warm and welcoming these people are. Bob had injured his leg and remained home recovering whilst Dena travelled and we became firm friends with the whole family. Words are not enough to describe how warm and welcoming these people are. Excellent communication, a positive attitude to everything, caring and thoughtful. This does not do them justice - they are fabulous humans and we feel truly blessed to know them. Their generosity towards us was exceptional. The pups will keep you smiling day after day. They are absolutely adorable. Bader is dignified and gentle, and extra special. A wonderful sofa companion with the most beautiful soul. Ellie is a bundle of playful fun, alert and engaging. Both dogs have superb manners and are very well trained. Soto the cat deserves his own paragraph. He is hilarious! Other than being stunningly handsome, he will strut his stuff and keep you amused. We suspect he keeps a little clock somewhere, and will remind you if a meal is overdue. The little trio of birdies will greet you with happy chirping and are lovely to watch and listen to. Dena and Bob’s home is beyond beautiful. Spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean with gorgeous terraces to relax on, wonderful bedrooms and a breathtaking roof terrace. The roof terrace has a hot tub, gas firepit and bedroom and shower. The rooftop bedroom has glass walls to allow full enjoyment of the spectacular views of San Miguel De Allende. We sat in the hot tub whilst watching the fireworks on the festival evenings - a magical experience that we will not forget. The property is magnificent but more importantly it is a much-loved home, and you will be made to feel at home there. We felt so relaxed and peaceful, and savoured every moment. We cannot recommend this family and home highly enough.

Fiona is great! She took great care of the cats and sent me lovely updates on their daily lives. She also sent a report card for each pet, which I loved. Fortunately, there were no surprises. Each cat lived up to expectations :). And on leaving she sent me a report card so I knew what I was coming home to including how much cat food and litter was left.
