Mike and Dalia were FANTASTIC guests and house sitters. Excellent communication during the process of arrangement and that continued throughout their stay. Our home was well taken care of, and our dog may have had the time of his life! Bentley was treated like royalty. I do not think he missed us at all. All of our neighbors raved about this couple and their friendliness and generosity. Highly recommend Mike and Dalia!!!

Angela has sooo many positive reviews here it almost seems unnecessary, but I will say I was extremely lucky to have such a responsible and dog-loving person care for my pets. The neighbor said Angela took better care of the dogs than I do! Mary and David have a beautiful home in San Miguel de Allende. They made me feel very welcome and answered any questions I had. The house's location is a little outside of town (though accessible by a 15 minute bus ride) but was great for me because they live next to a horse back riding school that I like to attend. She's independent and doesn't mind a few scratches behind the ear and petting when she wants it. Freda and Zorro, their two beautiful cats, were very affectionate and easy to take care of since they're mostly outdoor cats but have their own space within the house for the night. Before I arrived, Mary asked me if it was ok that I also take care of a stray puppy that unexpectedly arrived at their door a week or two earlier. How could I say no? Eve was an added bonus for me who wanted nothing but to be held and sleep on my lap which, unfortunately for her, had to be outdoors per house rules. Although Olive didn't like Eve's puppy energy she'd tolerate her more when I gave affection to both simultaneously. I wish I could've taken Eve with me but alas I trust Mary and David will find a good home for her. While they were on vacation they made themselves available to any questions or concerns I had. They were also extra generous in allowing me to ride their horse Orion while they were away. Although their trip was cut short due to circumstances outside of their control it was a complete pleasure taking care of their lovely home and adorable pets (whom I already miss!) while they were gone. We spent a few nights at Collette's beautiful home in Ajijic watching her 5 dogs. Collette asked us to arrive a day before her departure to meet the dogs and learn the routine. Two were more nervous but that is understandable since they were probably neglected or mistreated before Collette gave them a permanent home. A large, handsome golden Lab that was always affectionate, loved to play and well behaved on his many walks. It was hard to say goodbye to this big guy. She picked me up from the bus and showed me around, took me to get some groceries and as I was leaving she took me to a park-like hiking area that was absolutely beautiful. Summer and Mike are a very nice couple who despite difficult logistical problems made the extra effort to arrive here in plenty of time to have a successful handover. They looked after our house and garden as if it was their own and our dog Willy was in love with them. We would have no hesitation to have them house sit for us again. They even left some snacks for us in the fridge.
