Helena and Jim are a welcoming and hospitable couple. We felt very comfortable staying in their wonderful home in the hills of Ajijic. The view of Lake Chapala was extraordinary from their spacious patio! Jim was gracious to lend us his car which their adorable dog, Lola, enjoyed riding in. I had a lovely time sitting little Mimi at Susan and Mike's lovely home! Everything was great: The community was so peaceful and quiet, and the amenities were fantastic. I loved my morning walks and afternoon visits to the pool. The house is beautiful, with a gorgeous yard and comfortable seating everywhere. I am very pleased with Nancy. She came one day earlier to take the time to learn our routine and I noticed right away how my cats were at ease with her. Nancy was an awesome communicator sending me pictures of my babies every day. I would definitely recommend her!

Michelle is a very special sitter. She can accommodate any situation. Our situation was that we needed a sitter on very short notice. We had just recently moved from a larger property to a smaller property. Thus, our two cats now had to be kept inside and the two dogs also had to be kept contained by tether in the yard. X We enjoyed caring for Shawn and Laura's beautiful home and their sweet cat, Rasha. Shawn and Laura were the first people to give us a chance to house sit in Mexico. Our experience could not have been better. They were very communicative right from the start. We had several back-and-forth emails with questions and zoom calls to get to know each other and the task at hand. They told us about many interesting things to do like hikes, beaches, local attractions, where to buy groceries, where to eat, etc. By the time we arrived in Manzanillo we felt totally at ease. They picked us up from the bus station and took us to dinner before heading to their home. Their home is located outside of town in a gated community and we felt very comfortable and totally safe. The outside patio and pool were a restful oasis. It was so peaceful that you could even hear the waves crashing at the nearby beach. We rented a car and had no issues getting to the grocery stores, visiting sites in town, going to restaurants and even took a few longer trips to other towns. Rasha was so easy to care for, spending most of her time outside and only needing food and water. She seemed to be at ease with us right away and came around often for pets and scratches. She is also very talkative so we wished we understood cat speak! We had a wonderful experience and would recommend a house sit for Rasha, Laura and Shawn.
