My house, terraza and pool provide a nice space to hang out and relax in. But they also took full advantage of all the things there are to do in Cuernavaca. They did a Great job! We had the very good luck to have Cara house/pet sit for us recently while we were away for a three and a half week trip. Cara brings to the job everything you could possibly want in a house sitter. Cara brings to the job everything you could possibly want in a house sitter. First off, she is loving and caring for our little mini Schnauzer, Charlie. Second, Cara is very competent and personable, taking care of any issues that arose with ease. No request was beyond her ability. For instance, we currently have our house for sale and wouldn’t you know it, our realtor wanted to bring some clients by while we were gone. No problem for Cara, even though it was not part of her housesitting duties. She made sure everything was tidy, in order and ready for the showing. Didn’t sell the house, unfortunately, but that’s through no fault of Cara’s. And Cara has a fun, outgoing personality. She made friends with several of our neighbors and we, in fact, consider her a friend as well. We recommend Cara to anyone needing a reliable and conscientious house and/or pet sitter. A five star sit. What an absolute pleasure caring for the most adorable little darling, Keona. Keona is absolutely adorable. A gentle, sweet natured girl who is always by your side giving you so much love. Extremely low maintenance and very well behaved, she loved her rides in the UTV with the wind blowing in her face. We enjoyed a lovely welcome dinner together when we arrived and another when they returned, they are truly the most hospitable hosts. Their beautiful home is impeccable with a view of the ocean and mountains. We spent almost all of the time relaxing in there pool or down on the beach. The unique requirements of the home were carefully explained and shown, making for a seamless stay. We really enjoyed taking care of Canela and Nina at Louisa’s beautiful home in Cuernavaca. The fur babies were very sweet and easy to care for. Louisa had all the information we needed in a notebook which included restaurant and shopping suggestions. Any questions we had were quickly answered. Louisa was very responsive to our concerns. We would definitely return to house and pet sit in the future. The home is located a just 20 minute walk from the center of town.

I had the opportunity to sit for Bev and take care of Oliver. Bev was warm and welcoming, and Oliver (bernedoole) just has a huge personality, when you get out for walks he's out checking the neighborhood for "his friends".he's got such a good nature it was a treat to spend time with him.. Her home is comfortable, safe and quiet, and walking distance to el Centro, Gaudalupe, San Antonio and other great neighborhoods, and all the wonderful things San Miguel offers. He has his own dog walkers, so all that is really needed is to feed him and give him some attention, which is easy to do because he's so lovable. He’s fun to play with and he also loves to just stretch out, relax and sleep. There are absolutely no issues with a wonderful dog like Peekay. I will miss him! This was my first HouseSit and I’m grateful to Lindsay for her help and generosity. We got along great, and she made it an effortless experience. And again, Peekay is one of the best!

What a wonderful house sit. Helena & Jim were so accommodating and organized and made the transition seamless. Their home was lovely and the view of the lake was incredible. But the best part may have been Lola…the sweet doggie we had the privilege of sharing the home with for 3 1/2 weeks. What a delight! She loved her walks, her treats, her car rides and just spending time with us. She was happy all the time and a joy to spend time with. It was a great sit and we would gladly do it again.... Nicholas was attentive and kind to our pets. His communication is excellent. He sent messages once a week with photos of pets and general updates. He informed of us of any irregularities of the health of our pets. On two occasions he transported pets to the vet while keeping us informed and updated on the situations. We employ a dog walker and our dog can be difficult to walk. That said Nick is fit and willing to walk pets. He was conscious of energy usage in our home which we appreciate. ... Continue Reading

Brooke and Mike made the journey from San Miguel de Allende, where they have a home, to house sit for us and Lola, our little girl. They were most accommodating, especially when I had to tell them that our housekeeper was to have surgery and would be out of commission for a while. I had an amazing time at Janet and Allison's home. The pets are adorable - Bonnie kept me company, and the cats entertained me in the morning and late afternoon. The house and yard are beautiful. Janet and Allison are perfect hosts - providing everything I needed for a great stay.

Brian was awesome. He is extremely intelligent, very kind and respectful as well as a great conversationalist. He was in my home with my dog Peekay for the month I was back in Canada. Peekay loved Brian’s calm demeanor and curled up on the sofa with him for movies and they played together on the rooftop terrace daily. I’m pretty sure I would have missed my flight without his help as I was given 2 hours notice that my booked flight (Air Canada) was cancelled due to their strike so I had to take the one that night or not get there until the strike ended. The house was in perfect condition when I got home and it was obvious how happy Peekay was.
