We live in a 3-story, 1700 sq. ft., Mexican-style home on the main street of town, just 2 1/2 blocks from the Plaza Principal of San Juan Cosala and church. It is a short, easy walk to the malecon on the lakeshore, as well as to multiple balñearios where the hot springs and spas are located. The house has high-speed internet/WiFi and a TV with streaming programming, including Netflix, Prime Video and HBO Max. The best restaurant in town, Viva Mexico, is located just 1/2 block east of the house and there are numerous other restaurants within walking distance as well. The stop for the local buses, as well as those going into Guadalajara, is only one block away.

The guest area is located on the second floor and consists of a bedroom, bathroom, living room/dining area, kitchenette (small fridge, microwave, drip coffee  maker and expresso machine) and a laundry room with washer and dryer. On the third floor is a rooftop terrace with nice views. Guests who enjoy cooking and want to prepare their own meals may use the full kitchen and dining room on the first floor.  A housekeeper comes in to clean once a week.

We have three small senior dogs....two Chihuahuas and a Chihuahua/MinPin mix and one outside cat. The dogs "do their business" on pee pads or in the outside carport and don't need to be walked. They get plenty of exercise going up and down the stairs and they sleep most of the day, so they're really easy to take care of.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include feeding the dogs and cat twice a day and watering the outside plants and plants on the mirador, every 2-3 days.
