July 22 – Aug 3: Tranquil Beach Town, Lovely Casita + Three Kitty Cats
Lo de Marcos, Nay, Mexico
Hi there!
I have two stays that need to be filled:
Apply for one or both!
My guest casita is located the center of a very tranquil beach town on the west coast, near Puerto Vallarta, Sayulita and San Pancho. My store, Cosmic Milkshake, is out front on the calle principal and where you would be staying is behind the shop looking on to a flowery garden. This summer, however, I am building my mom a casa back there so there IS construction happening. The guys are there at 8am until 10am and then back from 11am to 4pm, like clockwork Monday to Friday and then 8am to 1pm on Saturdays. No work on Sundays. They don't play insanely loud music and the music they play is lovely traditional music (not electronic bar music, thank goodness!).
I have a casita for myself way in the back of the lot (it's a big 700m2 lot) but have some buying trips to do this summer so am looking for someone to stay in the guest casita and feed my three cats :) You'll be able to walk out your door to restaurants, cafes and stores and the beach is just a 4 minute walk up the road.
The casita has AC, of course, and there is a standup fan for outside under the palapa. When I lived there in the summers a couple of years ago I liked to work on my computer at the big table with a stand-up fan at my back.
Fast WIFI is available and it's been said that I my water pressure is the best ever! There is a record player with records in the livingroom for your enjoyment, as well.
Lo de Marcos will be hot and humid at this time of year so you'll have to be able to handle the heat. The cooling rains are welcome and the storms can be fantastically wild....summers are not for the faint of heart, though, that's for sure!
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Responsibilities
Responsibilities will be to feed my three cats and give them water every day. And, if it doesn't rain for 4 days straight then I'd love it if you could water my two baby Cacao trees and a few other plants in the garden. That's it! :)Photos

Additional Information
Lo de Marcos is an hour and 20 minute (tops) drive from the Puerto Vallarta airport - just hop in a taxi or take an inexpensive bus (85 pesos). San Pancho is just a 9 minute drive down the highway and Sayulita is a 15 minute drive from Lo de Marcos. There is a lot to explore in this area - including the Alta Vista Petroglyphs about 20 minutes away annnnnd the COLD SPRINGS (Agua de Ojo in La Lima) or the cold, clear river of Monteon after the rains have replenished the river usually in August. Believe me - in the summer the cold springs and the cold river are pure heaven.I have a page where I describe my guest casita in more detail here: https://cosmicmilkshake.com/casa-clara-lo-de-marcos-mexico-holiday-rental/ (of course it would be free for you - in exchange for looking after my cats)
