June 12 – July 1 in San Miguel de Allende!
San Miguel de Allende, Gto, Mexico
We live in the beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende. UNESCO has officially recognized San Miguel de Allende as a World Heritage Site, due to its extraordinary cultural and architectural significance. A key highlight is the Parroquia de San Miguel Arcángel, a stunning church in the heart of the city, known for its unique neo-Gothic architecture.
This is a lively, artistic community with galleries and artisans on almost every street. The Fabrica la Aurora is a massive complex of meandering art galleries featuring Mexican and international artists. A definite must see!
Our home is located outside of Centro in an area called La Lejona. It is a very safe area close to many restaurants and the best grocery stores in the city - La Comer and City Market. We frequently walk to the grocery store just to get some steps in. The bus to downtown is only a very short walk away. A taxi or Uber is very affordable (max 100 pesos) to Centro.
We have three bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths. The home is older and the furniture dated but very comfortable. (We are currently upgrading the furnishings) Wifi is provided and is reliable. Multiple TV options. We also have a housekeeper who comes in once a week to thoroughly clean the house. That could be continued during your stay.
We will be leaving in the early morning of the 12th, so coming in on the 11th is acceptable. I do have someone who can step in at the beginning or the end of our travel period if necessary.
We have a small yard outside where we put the dogs if we go out. That door must be locked when the dogs are outside because Wilber knows how to open it. We walk the dogs twice a day and would appreciate it if they got a little exercise. Other than that, it is the sanitary aspect of caring for animals. Pick up dog poop and clean the litter box.

Responsibilities
Our pets are the priority. We have two dogs - Wilber, a German Shephard and Orla a yellow lab. Both are very gentle, love people and other dogs. We also have a cat named Dezi. Antisocial by nature and will probably be a ghost but will make herself visible when hungry. Dogs and cat are fed twice per day. Water out inside and out.We have a small yard outside where we put the dogs if we go out. That door must be locked when the dogs are outside because Wilber knows how to open it.
