The area is quiet, safe, and filled with lovely homes. Walking distance to Parque Juárez, Mercado Sano, cafés, and Centro.

Security cameras are located inside and outside the home; however, there are no cameras in or near guest private spaces. Cameras are only accessed if needed in the event of a significant issue and are not regularly monitored.

Your private guest space is located on the upper level and includes:

Private king-size bedroom
Adjacent private bath with walk-in shower
Large rooftop terrace adjacent to the guest space with seating, plants, and beautiful views

Pets:

Two beloved orange cats, Rosa and Diego, are affectionate companions who enjoy calm company and daily routines.

High-speed WiFi is available throughout the home and is reliable for remote work.

Responsibilities

am hoping to find one trusted person who would enjoy staying in my home from time to time, with the possibility of returning periodically throughout the year.

Current dates include April 23 through approximately May 7–15, with flexibility appreciated if extension beyond May 15 is needed.

Additional confirmed dates include November 15 — January 10.

San Miguel resident preferred; Querétaro, Guanajuato, or Ajijic.
Or someone who has easy and flexible access to San Miguel de Allende periodically.

Applicants with access to flight benefits or flexible travel arrangements that allow them to reach San Miguel easily and return periodically are especially welcome.

Responsibilities include:

Feeding cats twice daily
Brushing cats
Cleaning litter boxes
Monitoring cat well-being
Providing companionship

Overnight presence in the home is required, and please plan to spend a few hours at home during the day or evening.

Additional home care includes:

Watering plants regularly
Maintaining general home security
Placing garbage outside 3x per week
Maintaining general cleanliness and order
Maintaining respectful relations with neighbors
Coordinating with housekeeper or service providers if needed (rare)
Monitoring utilities if issues arise

References required from other house sits completed within the last 18 months.

Copy of INE (Mexican ID) or passport with Mexican visa required after arrangements are confirmed.

Meeting in person before final arrangements is preferred; FaceTime acceptable if distance makes that difficult.
