February/March 2026 in the City of Guanajuato
Guanajuato, Gto, Mexico
We live in the beautiful and very colorful city of Guanajuato. We purchased our home 3 years ago and remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms. We have a huge outside terrace with lots of flowers and plants. Guanajuato is a University town with a symphony and a vibrant music and arts scene. Very near the popular city of San Miguel de Allende, most of us expats living here think that Guanajuato is more charming.
We have two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. We also have a small, furnished apartment attached to the main house.
We have 2 dogs, Mink aged 8 1/2 and Sandy aged 4 1/2. Then there's our good friend Dash, the wonderful cat aged 12.
Our home in Guanajuato is on a small, quiet street with access to taxis and walking distance to the Centro. About 5 minute walk down, but more like 9 minutes to walk back up. Guanajuato has lots of buses and taxis for easy mobility. More and more people here are using Uber as well.
Excellent internet/WiFi is provided.
We have found Guanajuato to be the most charming of Mexican locations....everything you need can easily be found here in town....however, if needs must, Walmart, Home Depot and Costco are only 45 minutes away by bus or uber.
We do have a lot of plants on the terrace that need a bit of watering.
Pet sitting is what we really need.

Responsibilities
Our pets are of course the main concern. Two dogs that need feeding twice a day and a cat that needs the same. A walk once a day is highly appreciated.We do have a lot of plants on the terrace that need a bit of watering.
Pet sitting is what we really need.
