My two floor apartment is located 10 minutes walk from the Parroquia church in San Miguel. The apartment is a one bedroom, one bathroom (shower only) filled with sunshine from morning to afternoon. The downstairs has a living room, desk alcove, kitchen and outside laundry area. The upstairs has two rooms, a bathroom, and a terrace. One room is a bedroom and the other a TV - yoga room. From the terrace you can see one of San Miguel's many churches. When the lights come on a night it is quite magical.

The apartment sits in a compound of 9 other apartments filled with ex-pats and locals. We all know each other well and look out for one another. I have WiFi but no washer/dryer. There is a service that picks up laundry in the morning and brings it back neatly folded the next day. Our street is located close to many great restaurants, food shops, and coffee shops. There is a Spanish language school up the street as well as a cooking school. When there are not local festivities going on, our neighborhood is very quiet.

Responsibilities

Taking care of Coco, my dog, is very easy. She needs a walk in the morning and then breakfast. Then a walk mid-day and one again around 5:00 with her supper afterwards. She is very friendly with other dogs and loves people.  She has a dog-walker three times a week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday) who does the mid-day walk. It is easy to take dogs into restaurants in SMA so Coco often loves to join on those outings.
