We truly enjoyed house sitting for Jill. Chacala is still a somewhat undiscovered beach town, and Jill’s villa is a wonderful place to stay. We really appreciated her generosity in hosting us for a night before the sit began, and again for two nights after it ended when she returned home a bit earlier than planned—this was incredibly kind of her. Our responsibilities included caring for Tiggy, a lovely cat who was very easy to look after, as well as hosting Jill’s Airbnb guests. Some guests were already there, some were returning, and others were new. Everything went smoothly, and Jill stayed in regular touch and was always available to troubleshoot when needed. Our living space was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time at the beach in Chacala. We were welcomed by all of Jill’s friends and acquaintances, and enjoyed an evening of flamenco guitar music at a local spot. We will stay in touch, and would be happy to house sit again.
