We had the very good luck to have Cara house/pet sit for us recently while we were away for a three and a half week trip.

Cara brings to the job everything you could possibly want in a house sitter. First off, she is loving and caring for our little mini Schnauzer, Charlie. She was in regular contact with us via WhatsApp, sending photos and updates about their various activities together. Charlie is quite smitten with her Tia Cara! That’s Charlie in the photo with Cara.

Second, Cara is very competent and personable, taking care of any issues that arose with ease. No request was beyond her ability. For instance, we currently have our house for sale and wouldn’t you know it, our realtor wanted to bring some clients by while we were gone. No problem for Cara, even though it was not part of her housesitting duties. She made sure everything was tidy, in order and ready for the showing. Didn’t sell the house, unfortunately, but that’s through no fault of Cara’s.

And Cara has a fun, outgoing personality. She made friends with several of our neighbors and we, in fact, consider her a friend as well.
