Brooke and Fran are warm, generous people, who have a wonderful dog in Charlie the schnauzer. Their home is very comfortable, as is the casita downstairs. Communication was great from the first email to the follow up did-you-make-it-home-ok email. They picked me up at the airport, showed me around town – the grocery store, bank, etc – and we also had dinner at a cool spot near their house. Once we got to the house, they made me feel at home. They left me all set up for in case anything happened.
Charlie is a confident, sweet, and easy dog to look after. She is a schnauzer, and does very schnauzer things out on walks: chases small (lizards) and large (coatimundis) critters, barks, and she likes a good fence fight game with neighbor dogs. LOL, I love this schnauzertude. She has a strong will, but also strives to please humans. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her.
I hope we cross paths again in the future, I would absolutely sit for Brooke again and highly recommend if you are considering it.
