I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home in a quiet neighborhood in Playa del Carmen.  There is a full kitchen with everything you need along with a washer/dryer as well. The WIFI is very strong and stable. There is a fenced yard so the dogs are very easy to care for as they can go in and out all day long as they like since they are all small and fit through the bars on the doors. You can easily get a taxi 1/2 block from the home on the main road to catch a bus or collectivo to the center.  There are many restaurants, bars, butcher, groceries and many other services within walking distance of the home but a cab to 5th Avenue or to the beach is only about $2.50 USD.

Responsibilities

I have two small older dogs.  I have a 17 year old dachshund named Gus and 13 year old schnauzer mix named Boxa. My dogs just need to be fed once a day and have their water bowl kept full.  They love lots of cuddles but are mostly lazy and like to sleep and lay in the sun.  They do like the occasional walk around the neighborhood park but do not need to be walked everyday. They do not need somebody home all day with them just someone to be there with them at night so you are free to explore and do whatever you would like during the day and even in the evenings as long as you are home to sleep with them at night.

There is one plant inside and a few outside that like to be watered about once a week or so depending on the weather.
