Welcome to our private villa in Tulum, Mexico. Two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in 1,946 square feet of indoor space. Our villa is situated within the safe residential community of Flora Fauna and is close walking distance to great restaurants and shops in the downtown pueblo and a 15 minute taxi ride to the beach. Our villa has a fully equipped kitchen, high speed internet, smart tv's in the living room and guest bedroom, washer, dryer, ceiling fans, A/C, a private yard with a salt water pool, patio for dining or relaxing, a casita, outside furniture on the rooftop, and many other quality elements. This has been our full time home for the last 5 years. The internet and living room tv is on a battery backup so if the electricity goes out you still have access. No vehicle provided but use of a bicycle is available. Small markets and restaurants are an easy and safe walk or bike ride from the villa. Taxis and private drivers are available for hire. Tomato MX (like DoorDash and GrubHub) is a food service from local restaurants delivered right to your door. We also have several wonderful neighbors.

We have three great cats who totally have different personalities. All three were rescued and gotten as kittens. Max is our Fat Cat. As big as he is he hides from strangers but once he gets to know you he will be very friendly. He is the one that wakes us every morning. Sammy is our little girl. She is a cat that determines whether you can pet her but she loves being brushed and has my wife doing it every time she gets in her little bed by squeaking (that is how it sounds rather than a meow). She lets you know when it's treat time too! Then there is my guy, Cooper! Cooper is sometimes a bully to the other cats but he is the one that will always let you pick him up or just pet him! At night if we are watching TV he'll come over to the couch and just look at me then jump up and lay between my legs and fall asleep. They enjoy spending time outside during the day especially Sammi and Cooper.

Responsibilities

Feeding our felines, brushings, treat giving, litter box cleaning (one on the inside and one on the outside), and giving them love and affection daily. Watering our outside yard which has different types of palms among other plants 3 times a week. General cleaning and care of our villa by a married couple, Gerardo and Reina, come every Monday from 10:30 am to 2:00 pm (you do not have to be there). They have been with us for almost 5 years and are extremely trustworthy. We also have a pool service, Ricardo and/or his family, that comes on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday usually 8:00 am. So Gerardo, Reina, Ricardo and his family are like family to us.

We are looking for a responsible and dependable single or couple who will treat our villa like their own, who want to relax, discover and enjoy Tulum.
