One Week: Beautiful & Comfortable Cat Sit in San Miguel de Allende
San Miguel de Allende, Gto, Mexico
Newly constructed adobe home in the colonial city of San Miguel de Allende. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to the center of town.
It has a large garden with a natural fish pond. It is comfortably furnished and has a convection oven & induction stove-top, dishwasher, washer & dryer. We have fiberoptic WiFi. Your living space is on one floor with an en suite bathroom and access to a terrace and 3rd floor “azotea” for hanging out and viewing the city and mountains, along with the spacious garden. There is even an additional shower outside with hot water!
Comfortable living area with a large smart TV. We have Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Our home is designed as passive solar, with solar panels, and solar hot water heater. It is very private, located on a quiet, wide street, walking distance to the center of town where you will find many restaurants, an artisan market, and many historical sites. There are small stores near us and a couple of casual Mexican restaurants. We have very nice, friendly neighbors.
Maid service is provided weekly. All utilities provided. Filtered water for drinking is provided in the kitchen
There is good bus service very near our home, and very inexpensive. Taxis and Uber services are abundant.
Pets: We have 2 cats, Chuy and Dweezil. They are great friends and very healthy, with no special needs. Chuy is 6 years old; Dweezil is 5. They come and go through cat doors, spending time in the garden. The house is surrounded by high walls that keep them safe.
We will also be looking for pet/garden sitters in late April for a month: Plans still in the making. We will post separately for this housesit when our travel plans are finalized.

Feed the cats in the morning and evening. Additional Information
San Miguel is a world heritage city and has many charming streets full of small artesan shops as well as elegant shopping.There are several organic grocery stores. It is full of all kinds of restaurants, coffee shops and bars, as well as an abundance of street tacos and ice cream vendors.
One of its central meeting places is the biblioteca which has a fine theater space and performance hall. The Angela Peralta Theater frequently offers excellent music performances including operas.
For outdoor fun, there are three thermal water parks a short bus or taxi ride away. Our botanical garden “El Charco” is a place one should not miss. And Fabrica Aurora, which has many art galleries and fine shops, as well as several restaurants.
