We are located on a hillside about 1000 feet from the ocean. We have an amazing view of both the ocean and the El Sauzal area. We have two dogs and three inside cats. Our "puppy" will be 4.5 years old and the rest are 10-12 years old. We have numerous friends in the area who will be there to support you if you need any help. We are actually leaving on November 14 and returning December 12 but want someone to come in a few days early so we can show you around the area. We have a great little casita that you can stay in before the housesit starts. We are open to having you come in earlier and staying later, if you want to.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to oversee the house and if something goes wrong, you will need to call our handyman or repairman to do repairs. The cats are inside, so they will need to have their kitty litter box cleaned daily and are fed twice a day, as are the dogs. The dogs will need to be walked and taken out on a regular basis. One or both dogs will have to go to the groomer, about 5 minutes away. We will leave money for our groomer, housekeeper and gardener, so you will need to use that to pay for their services. We have a drought tolerant yard but depending on the weather, it may need to be watered by hand.
