There aren’t enough adjectives to describe this sit, especially Gillian and John. From the first interaction I could sense their kindness and generosity and it only got better from there. We committed a few months in advance and communicated well to and throughout the entire experience. Their home and casita are a warm and inviting oasis that were easy to care for in a beautiful and relaxing neighborhood easily walkable to town, tiendas and hiking. All pets (4 dogs and 2 cats) are fun and playful, each with their own accepting and fun loving, playful personalities. I loved our dog piles when relaxing by the pool or tucking in for the night, in which the cats sometimes joined in. Even though each have their own special dietary needs they are fun to care for at meal and snack times and we enjoyed our “find the treats” games in the afternoons between rainstorms. This experience was tremendous and time passed too quickly. I really hope to be invited back for future sits and would enjoy caring for Gillian and John’s house and their “crew” again.
