I had a wonderful time taking care of Stella and her home in San Miguel. Although it was a short sit, I couldn’t help falling in love with Stella. She has a personality to match her good looks, and we became best friends right away. She is so well behaved around the house and very easy to walk. Despite her little legs, she had no problem coming on long walks with me around San Miguel. I don’t think I’ve ever had so many people smile at me walking down the street as I did when I was with Stella. She is also great company if you want to take her out for dinner, although the restaurant staff will usually pay more attention to her than you!
Although Stella is the star of the show, I guess I should mention that she also has a really nice house and owners. I was welcomed with a nice dinner my first night there and given clear instructions for Stella’s care and the house. The house is well furnished, clean, comfortable and quiet. It’s located in a good neighborhood, walking distance to centro, with plenty of small stores and places to eat nearby.
