My house has two bedrooms and 2.5 baths. The picture shows the house when it was new; the plants are all much bigger now. We have AC and heating from mini-splits. The large kitchen is fully equiped. We have reliable, fast Internet and Fire sticks for the TVs with multiple apps.

The landscaped patio includes a fire pit. The yard is tended by a gardener, and we have no house plants, so there are no chores besides caring for our two very sweet kitties. One cat is a fluffy female, and the other is a short-haired male.

We live in a gated community with security (El Dorado Ranch) several miles from the fishing/tourism village of San Felipe (about 25,000 locals and 10,000 snowbirds) on the Sea of Cortez. There are lots of good restaurants. The Ranch has swimming pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a golf course, movies, a private beach, and many activities.

San Felipe is two hours south of Mexicali on Hwy 5. We have no commercial plane service, so you would need to drive here, and you will need a car to drive around. My house is several miles from town, and a few miles to community activities. I can provide a recommendation for cheap temporary car insurance.

My departure date is March 2, but I will need to leave early on that Monday, so it's best for you to come a day before I leave, and then I will have time to orient you to the town. My daughter and I will be going to Portugal, flying out of Phoenix. Return date to San Felipe is the afternoon of March 12, so you can leave on the 11th or 12th.

Responsibilities

The only responsibility is to take care of my two adult cats -- food, water, treats, litter box. The cats have a pet door, so they may go outside. They don't play with toys much, but you'll certainly want to try some playtime.
