It was a pleasure to hang out with Roxy, the dog, and Sylvester, the cat for a week in Jan’s lovely Mirasol home. Jan was very kind to pick me up at my Airbnb on the day of her departure. She then spent several hours with me to show me around the area, in particular Ajijic and the Lakeside Community Center where there are many classes and activities. She pointed out many restaurants and grocery stores so I would immediately know where to get food once she left. She also gave me a thorough rundown of the ins and outs of her house and was available to answer questions by text when I needed her help. All of this made my stay so much easier as this was my first time in the Lake Chapala area. I would highly recommend this sit.
