Erica sat for us & our 4 fur kids in Dec 2018. I chose her after checking her profile and seeing all the positive reviews she had received, as well as the communications we had going on back & forth. When she arrived, we were certain we had made the right choice. The dogs were at ease with her and all were jockeying for position to be right next to her on the couch. Tessa and Joe house sat for us from late December 2018 through Jan 26, 2019. They are lovely people, who cared for our dog like she was their own. They took excellent care of the house and made it very nice to come back to. We enjoy their company and look forward to seeing them again. We would have them again at any time where it works for the both of us. Again, they are wonderful people that go out of their way to make things great for us snd our dog.

Doreen & John just sat for us for 2 weeks in January, and were absolutely perfect. They took care of our old cocker spaniel much better than we do, and she misses them greatly. Doreen & John communicated with us at least every other day, with a report of how things were going, and we got the idea that if we just stayed gone long enough, they would get our house in really good shape. This was truly one of my favourite sits. Be prepared for a Love Fest! Fish, Audrey, Henry, Sally & Willa will steal your heart. They will sleep in the same bed as you (a huge one) and you will never feel so loved when you wake up. The villa is absolutely gorgeous with amazing views of the town. With a cleaner twice a week & a gardener five times a week, you can focus on enjoying the pets and your time there. I applied for this sit after looking at photos of Ava, Dolce, Hillary & Lucy. Their little faces melted my heart! They wake up at first light & like barking at the birds who goad them on from the balcony railing. They frequently made me laugh though & all have such different personalities. The location is quite remote so having a car would be good if you want to explore. The landscape is quite unique with the ocean right in front of you & the mountains right behind you. We were able to meet Janet and Everett before our sit and they very kindly took us out for sightseeing & lunch, so we knew they were genuine and generous folk from the start. Bubba is an old much loved pooch, who thinks he’s still a pup and is very easy to care for. It’s a very spacious house, lovely guest bedroom with comfortable bed and en-suite. We had plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. We loved the garden and verandas too and spent a number of afternoons watching the hummingbirds come... Continue Reading

We had a cleaner & a gardener to care for the property. There were plenty of heaters for the cool January evenings and we were invited to make use of the master bedroom as a TV Lounge, which we did. Bubba missed Janet & Everett when they went on holiday, but soon decided we were ok and slept under our bed each night. It’s a bus or taxi ride into town, but the upside is that it’s quiet at night and the neighbors are friendly too. They were always available via phone, but everything went very smoothly during the sit and we mostly only communicated via text to keep them posted on how all the animals were doing and sending pics so they could keep connected to their furry friends at home. I had a very enjoyable visit at their property and fell in quick love with their animals.
