We had a really good time hanging out with Teddy. He was such a sweet dog and wanted nothing more than to just cuddle in our laps. He is really low maintenance and was very well-behaved for us. The house is very comfortable and in a great location...very close to everything! It is a good spot for exploring the area and would be a nice house sit for anyone wanting to check out the Lake Chapala area.

My wife and I just finished an 8-day sit for Anne and her 5 fur babies in Bacalar. What a great experience it was! Anne’s home was so comfortable with everything we could want to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. Lorraine and Bill stayed in our home for a month and cared for our two dogs. One of them is elderly and required twice a day medication. They took excellent care of our "girls" and I know that they missed Lorraine and Bill when they left. They took immaculate care or our home and left it sparkling clean and well cared for. They even had to deal with the dogs encounter with a skunk! We hope to have them back when we plan our next year's winter getaway. They are the best!

The dogs are very easy care since they have a self-feeder that the gardener keeps filled and basically only require love and affection. Oh, and Chloe needs a couple of pills that she takes eagerly when wrapped in cream cheese! Jeannie and John are very experienced both as home owners dealing with sitters and as sitters themselves. Everything was explained and written down before they left and they were very responsive to emailed questions. Jeannie shared her friends with us and they made us feel welcomed in the community. I highly recommend this house sit to sitters who want to explore San Miguel de Allende or who are looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay in a beautiful park-like setting. It might not suit some sitters who work on-line, as the internet is quite slow. Especially upload speeds.
