We enjoyed our house sit for John and Damyn very much. Their dog Kasha was such a gem to be with and she warmed up to our little Bo (a Yorkie)in no time at all. My Bella instantly took to Colin. Bella loved Colin's company. I had no worries on my 14 day trip knowing Colin was in charge of my household. I recommend Colin and would invite him into my home again. Also Colin cooked providing a return meal which was such a delight.

This was a very satisfying dog sit. We enjoyed hanging out with the 3 small dogs. Their energy and enthusiasm were infectious! Lila's house is very well situated a few blocks uphill from the carretera with convenient grocery store, car rental agency, and several restaurants. Lila's garden is amazing, with every North American house plant I could name, thriving in the Mexican sunshine! Watering duties were clearly described in writing, as well as care for the fur babies, and household routines.

My two week stay at Gloria's house was a delight. From our first meeting I found Gloria to be a kind, trusting, and generous person. We had a wonderful time at Tom's and Donna's house. The two hosts are super helpful and nice, communication has always been excellent. Everything is there that you need in everyday life, we had very comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a wonderful view to several lakes, lined with mountains and in the midst of it most beautiful sunrises. So there is very little to do, no walking or other obligations. I would sit with Tom & Donna again anytime and highly recommend it to anyone without reservation.

We left town very early the next morning, and I had upmost confidence that they would take care of our house and car as well as our 3 dogs. And then there were those 3 dogs. My little poodle mix had only been with me 4 months, and my new housemate's other 2 for only a month. The 3 had not spent much time together because of compatibility issues from the beginning. The newest members of the family had been living upstairs and rarely came into the downstairs space with Melly and me. They never ate together or slept together up until the day before Kathie and Diane arrived. Oh, and the 2 new ones were somewhat of a surprise for their new caretakers, as they were not listed on my original posting. We were gone 3 weeks and I was kept apprised of everything that was going on in our absence, from fixing the car to fixing the damaged front gate, and of course, what was happening with our 3 babies. I never lost a minute of sleep knowing Kathie and Diane were in charge of EVERYTHING! They are the Amazing Duo!

The house looked better than when I left it and I had tried to keep it very organized and clean before they came. They were very flexible when I realized I was coming home 3 days later than actually scheduled because I did not get my return information in my calendar correct. They sent pictures of bruno, who looked absolutely in love with the wife of the couple. They also they also sent me a picture of him sitting with the husband and he looked really cute and happy. Apparently they bonded very well with my dog. They have a lot of insight into what questions to ask after I had left. This is also very much appreciated. My last house sitter free fed my dog, who gained a lot of weight in the 3 days that I was gone. He only weighs 7 lb, so I was very upset and it took a while to get him back to his normal weight. (These were not HSM house sitters but someone else.) Thankfully Bruno did not gain any weight, they must have followed my instructions about how much to feed him. Also, I had a serious ant problem when I left, everywhere. I haven't seen one since I've been home for the last 2 days, and that was great. They are a very polite, intelligent and sweet couple, and I can't wait for them to sit for me again.

Brenda was extremely easy to work with. We met her and Bruno prior to the sit and we liiked each other immediately. He was fun to look after! Brenda left very detailed instructions and insisted we make ourselves at home. She has a comfy home with a lovely backyard that gets lots of sun. However, because of a serious medical diagnosis, Andries & Christa offered to stay as long as I needed, or at least until mid February when their return to Canada was necessary. X As soon as we connected, I knew Andries & Christa would be the perfect house/pet sitters, and I accepted their offer to stay in my home, take care of the property, and tend to my sweet kitty, Kiki. The period was supposed to be from late July until the end of October. However, because of a serious medical diagnosis, Andries & Christa offered to stay as long as I needed, or at least until mid February when their return to Canada was necessary. I could not have chosen more wisely. They had to deal with plumbing problems, broken equipment, a propane gas shortage, payment of bills, dealing with workers, neighbors, and visitors. But by far the most important and most pressing was the care of my cat, Kiki. He bonded with Christa almost immediately. Who wouldn't with her love and affection? When Kiki became ill Andries and Christa were there for him, made sure he received the proper medical treatment, administered his meds, and when it came time, they were there to ease him over the rainbow bridge. I am eternally grateful for this amazing couple; for their love, friendship, and wonderful care. We've become lifelong friends. Of all my prior house sitters, they are by far the most caring, gracious, and trustworthy. They also took care of any business needing attention and maintained everything in perfect order. Thank you, Andries and Christa! You're the best!

It was a wonderful experience taking care of Lia's 6 cats: Rosalita, Camillo, Fiocco, Neve, Sofia, Sissi, each with its own different personality. Very nice home in a nice little gated community, that Juanita and I thoroughly enjoyed. They have an adorable little Schnauzer that is very low maintenance. Dale was an extremely gracious host and very responsive when needed, all in all, a great stay at this place.
