Our beautiful home is a two-story, 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom Mexican Colonial style house with all the modern conveniences (including a pool table and a heated plunge pool) in the luxurious Los Frailes neighbourhood of San Miguel de Allende. The home is safely walled and gated, and the backyard contains a built-in BBQ grill, pizza oven, smoker and ice cold drinks fridge. Enjoy the stunning mountain views of the rooftop patio, while you relax in one of the two hammocks. The rooftop is equipped with a gas heater and grill, and a bar.  The front yard contains parking for two large cars and a tropical cactus garden.

The home is protected by a monitored alarm system, has a doorbell system, fiber-optic WiFi at a 100 MB download speed throughout the house and outdoor areas. We have Fire Stick TV service, Netflix, Prime etc and a local telephone landline. We have a 5000 litre cistern storage to ensure backup underground water is always available.

It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, an approximate 40 minute walk into the town centre. A 10 minute taxi ride to the center of San Miguel costs approximately 90 pesos (about $4.50 USD). Taxis or Uber typically arrive within 15 minutes of being called. Flor de Jamaica, a very nice local restaurant, is only a 5 minute walk from our front door, opposite the restaurant is a food market with fresh produce and La Cañada Community Bazaar, an open air organic market that's held every Saturday is a 10 minute walk away. Our housekeeper comes once per week for six hours and our gardener works one day a week. Since they don't have keys to the house, we ask you to please let them in and out. We have a sweet pedigree yellow Labrador Retriever, Willy, who will alert you to the hot air balloons that pass very closely overhead and land a few blocks directly in front of our upstairs terrace a couple of times a week. Keep your phone or camera handy and you'll get some very nice pictures like the one I took from our upstairs patio.

Responsibilities

• Keep the small plunge pool clean (detailed instructions provided),


• water the plants and grass every two days (unless it rains)


• feed and walk Willy twice a day (40 minutes in the morning, 15 minutes in the evening)


• fill the hummingbird feeders upstairs and downstairs as required. The hummingbirds are always hungry, like Willy.


• Enjoy the house, a very playful dog, the views, the weather and beautiful San Miguel de Allende—it's a magical place


• 3 bedroom home with bedroom to be used by sitters having an en-suite and walk-in shower as per photos
