It started in December 2007. We had been living in Puerto Vallarta for many years working in tourism. The town had become a growing city and we were ready to move on. Some friends asked us to housesit their beachfront home in Todos Santos, Baja Sur. They were going to India and would be gone for 6 months. The house had been for sale for over a year and the prospects did not look good. So we packed up our stuff, quit our jobs and we were excited about living rent-free in the Baja. What would it be like to live without paying rent or a mortgage, something neither one of us had experienced as adults?
As it turns out our friends found a buyer for their house and told us that we could only sit the house for 6 weeks until the closing. What to do? We were ready for a long-term adventure living in the Baja in a half million-dollar home in front of the beach. We searched the Internet for house sitting agencies that had listings of sits in Mexico but there were almost none to be found in the country.

had visitors. We added a shopping Mall in September where our clients can receive 2% cash back on purchases. We want all of our clients to feel that this is a family of house sitters and way of life full of adventure with no stress.
As for us, we left Todos Santos in March to sit a B&B in the Copper Canyon. From there we spent 6 weeks sitting a beachfront place in San Jose del Cabo. We are now finishing a sit in a 3 bedroom house in Barra de Navidad, Jalisco. Soon we will be sitting in Playa del Carmen long term.
We manage the website seven days a week: you need something to do while house sitting. Customer Service is the most important factor in this business. We answer every contact that we get quickly and are here to provide whatever information our clients need about house sitting or Mexico.
